Opinions of 3M Hand Glaze
Hi to everyone.
I wonder if the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze is a good option for prepping the paint for wax in a new or good condition wax. Thank you. |

Yes it is. I use to use IHG all the time before applying a carnauba wax and it worked well. Don't use it before any polymer sealants, though.

It works really good as a glaze. It fills in swirls and give a really really deep gloss. Better than Meguiar's #7.
Application is tricky. Begin removing while its still wet. Its a PITA to remove once dry. Panel by panel. Joy. |

Why hide the swirls when Meguiars #9 swirl remover or #80
speed glaze will remove them with outstanding results. Followed up with NXT 2.0 wax for unbeatable shine and durability. Ron |

I usually use a somewhat damp microfiber cloth to remove the haze. When I say somewhat damp I mean that the cloth is sprayed once with a mist of water. This seems to help out.

Meguiar's #9 is a swirl remover but also has filling oils as well. |
