Hartge Piggyback tune
Mate just got a 2012 335i N55 which has this piggyback fitted apparently its the £2k+ one from Birds. We're taking it off this weekend and he wants to sell it.
No idea what he can expect for it 2nd hand so that's reason for the post, any ideas? Not driven it yet so can't compare it to mine but will give it a go and see what its like. From what he says it seems to follow the std cars build in power just stronger throughout the range and the top end is where it seems to take off. Be happy to see what everyone thinks and he'll probably be open to offers. |

No ideas on it, but the fact it cost £2k in the first place makes me think its a rip off! Can get something like a JB4 for a fraction of that price so I'd make sure he is only asking for a decent price.

Is it coded to the car in any way ? If it isn't just plug 'n' play it may make selling it very difficult.
I also agree with the previous poster - their prices are stupid ... no matter how good it is ! |

It's offered as supply or supply fit so doubt its a coded item but maybe he can check with Kevin at Birds.

See infor above Rudz. No harm letting him know what you are willing to offer. Drop me a PM. We will find out whats involved when we take it off. Previous owner sending details on fitting/removal but probably similar to the JB4 idea so shouldn't take more than 30 mins |
