When did you last wash your car?

I cant remember when I washed mine ... some weeks before Christmas.

It is now quite incredibly dirty. I'm kind of hoping that the dealer will wash it for me today, but I suspect they may not.

Last sunday afternoon, it was a lovely day, I even managed to get some wax on her.

I always ask my dealer NOT to wash it.

Sunday for me as well. The back end seems to act like a hoover and suck up every last piece of dirt/grit/grime on the road.

Christmas Eve. Plan on doing it again this pm, subject to weather permitting.

By the way, just took delivery of some Einszett Kristall Klar Washer Fluid for windscreen wash - anyone used this before? 250ml makes 7 gallons apparently, which means a helluva dilution...

Last Friday, and it's still clean :-)

Had not washed it for a couple of months before though, it needed a clean.

Washed back in late November.

It's going to be washed and vacuumed by the dealer visit next week.

The number plates are just barely visible (front and back). The only thing I have kept clean in the screens, headlights, rear lights.

Washed it the week before XMas and then it was not out at all until work yesterday. It is absolutely rotten now though with all the snow and gritty slush.

Washed both cars on New Years Day and the 335 had a wash on the Sunday before Christmas, but both need their interiors cleaned.

Regards

I'm ashamed to say, not since the 22nd December.

It's still pretty clean considering. I'm just waiting for the weather and family commitments to co-operate to get it all sparkly again.

I've been trying to figure out what he was doing. He obviously had one string tuned way low, which gave a really bass-like sound, then the other two tuned to an open tuning.

I've messed around with open tunings a little bit, but it's a pain in the neck to go from that to standard tuning and if you muck around too much you tend to break strings.

What do you play then?

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom in sunburst yellow (so I can pretend to be slash), a Tanglewood solid body acoustic and a really nice 50w marshall valvestate amp that I bought on ebay. I've played very little for the last few months and it shows. I've really just picked up the acoustic now and again for a bit of finger picking.

+1!

I do not trust dealers with washing my car. Would rather do it myself.

It was a bit of a Carlos moment, but my car is absolutely filthy and since there are so many people on the forum who are into detailing etc I wondered how they coped in this weather.

Next thread will be ...
