Build slot can move left...

I was contacted today to be told that my M4, due for delivery in Feb/Mar, can be delivered in December due to a cancellation freeing up a build slot.

I essentially have three options:

1) Get the car as early as possible, a 2014 64 plate, and start enjoying it.

2) Delivery can occur in December, but have it registered in January. This means a slightly longer wait, but the car will now be a 2015 64 plate.

3) Stick with original build slot and have a 2015 15 plate car.

I plan to own it for four years. Does anyone have any thoughts on delivery?

I've got an individual plate via DVLA.. doesn't matter if it's gonna be late 2014 or in 2015.

Just get the car if you have the ££ to enjoy it asap

Gut feeling is get it asap and enjoy the thing. The plate query was regarding future value with a newer plate rather than some sort of personal pride in having the latest plate (this doesn't bother me).

Heart tells me it would be mad to not get the car as soon as!
