Does the e92 tail light use one bulb for the brake light?

For the e92 trunk tail light on pre-lci, is there only 1 921 light bulb so that the light reaches the trunk tail light as well?

Remember, there are two separate tail light housing. One is fixed on the corner, one is on the trunk lid. I'm asking if the trunk lid has another additional tail light bulb inside ? I am getting a rear tail light malfunction but it is not telling me exactly which one or is there only 1 bulb? And the reflectors transfer light from one side to the other?

I have replaced the one in the trunk before and it has 2 bulbs. So there can be an error and you still have one as a backup.
