Hey guys,
I finally installed my boost gauge yesterday after getting everything I needed for the install.
I'm really happy with the results, but I have a couple questions so I can verify that the readings that I'm getting are accurate.

I have the Procede v1.47 currently installed and UR catted DPs.
At idle, I'm getting 18 In Hg.
At full boost I'm getting 12ish PSI.
I'm at sea level.

Could you please provide the following for me so I can compare the numbers to make sure that there are no leaks with mine? Please have the reaidngs be CURRENT.

- Tuner program
- Exhaust
- In Hg at idle
- Peak boost
- Your elevation

Please don't turn this in to a pissing contest; like...Oh yah, well I peak at 20 psi all the time bla bla bla.

Looks good! Did you actually screw it down, or just sit it up there with that bracket?

Did you or can you print up a DIY? That looks pretty darn good. What gauge is it and how much did you pay for it?

The gauge is held to the bracket and the bracket is held to the dash both by double sided tape.

This is an STRI gauge.
I posted this poll regarding the placement, but I think that a lot of people had problems with how I was going to mount it.

Looks good man! I am getting about the same vacumm as well. In the mornings its really low at like 5 hg then it will get to like 10hg then 15-18hg. I have Xede with CP-E exhaust. Boost is around 13psi. Dont know the elevation in FL.

I have a feeling that the pressure fitting that came with the original vacuum line didn't fit a tight seal with the new black line that I got.

In post 4 you'll see a link. We talked about most of what you PM'd me about in that link.
The exhaust flange I got at Autozone.

My guess is he just tightened the flange around the guage cylinder

I get around 20-22 fully warm vacuum and around 14-15 psi boost at sea level. Do you have a peak recall?

I don't but I can see how high it gets.
I have a feeling the pressure fitting was too big for the vacuum line.

What mods do you have?

Bugcede, As long as the line fit over the fitting your fine. No flow is required to run through the line so diameter and such don't matter. As long as everything is tight it will be as accurate as it can be. You would hear hissing and feel it if it was leaking. That looks like a mechanical gauge though?

And I have 20-22 stock as well.

I just wanted to make sure that it sealed correctly.
I know there's no flow, and as far as hearing hissing, I don't know if I would be able to tell over my exhaust.

Not at all.
You don't have to have a piggyback to put in a boost gauge.
One could install one to see what their stock boost is.

Plain and simmple:
Boost gauges are fun-tuned or stock.

- Exhaust: stock
- In Hg at idle: -18 ( -23 downhill or lifting the pedal )
- Peak boost: 13.8 plus 0.6 baseline
- Elevation: 1800 feet

It looks like mine is fine by the vacuum being the same with you guys.
I'll drive around a bit more to see if there is any fluctuation with the boost. There's also a possibility that the gauge isn't as accurate.

I'll take a pic tonight.

I have a slight problem though.
I just went driving and it was the first time driving in the day time with this gauge. It was very hard to see with all of the light coming in. I either have to go with a clear lense or get a different coverthat helps cover the gauge from the external light.

Does wearing polarized sunglasses help at all? That usually helps with glare.

It's not the glare. It's the brightness.
It's worse with sunglasses.
