Joyriide1113 Detailed: Black VW GTI MKV
Buddy of mine got a hold of a new GTI. It looked great. Really great actually. Maybe enough to even think about VW R32's. Anyways, he brought it by to get detailed. The paint was really clean, except he had a lot of marring. The car only has like 35miles. Goes to show why you NEVER let the dealer do your new car prep...
Job was simple and fun. Took all but 2.5 hours. EXTERIOR ONLY Wash w/ Megs Gold Class Clay with Mothers Polish with Menzerna PO106ff via Grey pad @ 1500rpms Waxed with Clearkote Moose Wax Trim cleaned and dressed with Poorboys Trim Restorer Wheel sealed with Poorboys Wheel Sealant Tires dressed with Zaino Z16 Fenderwells got hit with Meguiars Hyper Dressing 4:1 Before Half and half shots After Joy If you're in the Miami area and want your car detailed, send me a PM. Thanks Joy |

Its actually pretty easy to maintain. Even when dirty, from 25 feet away, it still looks clean. The paint has such a shimmer to it that it really over-exposes the paint and makes it hard to sport swirls or scratches.

That Clearkote Moose looks great on the metallic black paint! Gives me another option to think about for my Sapphire Black. How is the durability of that wax?

1-2 months... Depending on how often you would wash it afterwards, how harsh your soap, and if you use a qd after the wash.
