If you look on the proper BMW parts system there are loads of different configurations of 405M's... 2 pages rings a bell. Looks nice nobby810996, are they winters or summer tyres? Mat

Not too sure... may be still in air a bit (locking nut on still) or just low camera angle and flash playing with eyes. Eitherway looks fine in person (can't stand lowered / uneven gaps)

Can someone explain the concept of winter wheels to me?
My car is being delivered on 19 inch rims. Are smaller rims intrinsically better in winter? If so, why? Or is it just that specialist winter tyres only come in smaller rim sizes? |

In snow and rain a narrower tyre will cut through to get grip better than a wider summer tyre. A smaller wheel is usually cheaper but also allows you to fit a higher sidewall profile which means the rims are less likely to get hit if the car slides into a kerb. I don't think a higher tyre profile offers any intrinsic benefit in winter tyres.
