HID angel eyes on e92

Ok so whats the deal with this and why hasn't anyone done it yet?? I know it will throw an error and the inner ring will be brighter. Big deal its already brighter inside and all the other aftermarket bulbs dim the entire thing even more. Give me some input guys cuz I want to experiment and let y'all know how it turns out. I just dont want to shell out for a kit to find out something isnt going to let it work properly. What should i expect other than what i stated?

it's so bright that you won't see the corona rings anymore. at night with the xenons on, they will be all one bright light.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but that 10,000K purple stuff looks like shit and does not belong on a BMW...... Leave them to the big blingin' SUVs. Also, you lose so much light output on those it would only function at the same level as regular halogens. This totally kills the meaning of Xenons

Long Tran has already tried this, (you could do a search) the halos becomes so bright that you can't see the rings anymore, just a blob of light... which kinda defeats the purpose of the angel eyes.

lol actually a quality 10,000k bulb has very little purple, you're refering to 12,000k or the bullshit "30,000k" which is a deep purple and I agree looks like shit and doesn't belong on ANY car. Also since its useless because the purple is so dark that it doesn't even light anything up.

Just looking for something similar to stock but with a little different of a color. I'll be posting pics once I get the kit...

So there's no way to get brighter than GP Thunders but not too bright to keep the rings visable huh?

To be honest with you, there's no quality 10K bulb out there. Reputable manufacturers like Osram-Sylvania and Philips will only make bulbs up to 6000K because they know damn sure that anything above you will be sacrificing too much light output.

Also, you are absoultely wrong about 10K not being purple. Here's a break down of the color temperature and the respective color

4300K stock OEM white color with some yellow hue
5000K-5500K white with some blue hue
6000K-6500K white with some purple hue
7500K-8000K blue
10000K purple

It's almost not worth it to go for the 10,000K coz your headlights will be so dim it will be useless at night.

Anyways, good luck with your "kit"
