Wow, what took them so long? Thought they would've had them out months ago?

That garbage will sell like hotcakes around here with all the cheapskates on this forum!

Absolutely I was searching, seeing what China has available. I already have the real thing.

Front lip looks like it's all carbon - I think some forum members might have been asking about that already.

Thumbs down

wow, we sure do have some huge whiners on this forum. These whiners should be thanking the Chinese for bringing down the price of all the household items that they buy. It's not like they're making these parts and selling them illegally like fake handbags.

Not to say that the parts are all high quality, but it looks like this china manufactured part fits and looks fine.
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1050722

People should understand that the Chinese entering the market is usually a good thing. It will bring the price of those $110 painted side markers down eventually. Think about it -- do the sellers really deserve to make such high margins for buying the core OEM part and painting over it? These are commodities!

I am pretty sure if BMW has a design patent on the front lip spoiler and another company, let's say in China, replicates it, the replica part is considered a counterfeit product and is illegal in the US and most other countries (with the exception of China which doesn't recognize patent law). So actually yes, it is exactly like the replica handbags you mentioned.

You get what you pay for, if you pay a premium I am sure you'll get premium product quality with premium customer service to address any questions or concerns. Not sure what level of product quality or what sort of service you'd expect from AliExpress....

Non-OEM replacement parts are actually legal. Many body shops in the US use them. Please do your homework before you start with "i'm pretty sure"

There is a rampant band of intelligencia on here who think that paying massively inflated prices is "prestigious".

I love that these geniuses call well-made products like these: "chinese knock offs" but apparently RKP carbon diffusers, RW carbon M4 spoilers and Mode Carbon M3 spoilers are "tuner products"...

Absolutely laughable

Apparently, if you spend a ton on marketing, making pretty videos, taking lovely photos and posting well-written marketing prose on the forums, means you can put a 4000% mark up on your products and get praised for it, but selling the EXACT SAME PRODUCT for 20% mark up gets you labelled a "knock off"

Can you give more information on the legality of replacement parts? I have no problem admitting my assumption was wrong I jut want to read more about it.

The RKP F8X M3/M4, M5, and M6 products are built in the Midwest with US engineers and US labor. The technician featured below, Craig, is RKP's lead technician whose previous employer was Penske IRL.
