It's happened to me twice in the last week and I cant figure out what's causing it.

I jump in the car, do not touch the brake and press start button once to get the dashboard lit up and so the phone can connect to the car and so that the idrive boots up.
Roll a herbal one, look up and this is on the screen.

The first time it happened I put foot on brake as normal to start engine, today when I saw this I just pressed the button with no brake and car started.

Anyone had this happen to them or have a clue what I am doing to make it happen?

Is should only happen if you haven't applied enough pressure or not put your foot on the brake when starting the engine.
