Indy Shops Bay Area

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a good independent shop that can help with transmission issues I am having. I'm located in San Jose and would prefer somewhere in the South Bay. I've seen Fast Lane European, BTM Motorwerks and Bavarian Motorsports. My transmission has been shifting very odd lately and I've been thinking about changing the fluid, solenoids inside mechatronics, and sealing sleeve. However Fast Lane European is suggesting going with a software update for the transmission. What recommendations would you guys have?

the update seems like the best idea, cheapest. But I'd Probaly do the fluids as well depending on miles/age.

Fluids was changed at 75,000 miles and transmission fluid pan. Already have reset adaptations as well.

I found a local shop that can program my transmission for $120 using Auto Logic. I know Auto Logic is third party. How is this tool compared to the tool the dealer uses? Dealer wants to charge $400.

I used Rennwerks and was happy with him (Mike). Replaced front turbo and valve cover. Located near San Tomas and 17.

Mason is the man. Fast Lane is the only place that touches anything important on my car.
