Grrr
there's a special place in hell for people who overtorque wheel nuts with impact wrenches.
Had one wheel refurbed when someone ran into my car. The only wheel that has been off the car since it was made. Now have found rounded wheel nuts when trying to switch over to my winter wheels. Won't budge. All the other wheels are fine. Just glad I started on that wheel so didn't end up with 3 winters on and unable to get 4th on. And of course always happens on a saturday afternoon when no service departments are open! |

I found similar. One bolt was crazy tight. Fortunately I had bought a 2' breaker bar in anticipation. Even with this leverage it took all my strength/weight to get it loose...
How about a quick weekend visit to Halfords? Or, is the bolt destroyed?

The bolt head is rounded so now the socket is slipping. Already got a massive breaker bar and good quality sockets etc.
I've abandoned it as I will need a new set of bolts so no point ploughing on. |

This really annoys me, stupid lazy fitters not using the correct torque with the impact wrench.
Alternatively garages who fit the wheels back and have only done them finger tight, forgetting to finish them off with the wrench, nearly had a wheel come off Always check now after anything is done involving wheels. |

Fair play to body shop. Sorted it out, new set of bolts. Minimal hassle.
I think they got message when I offered them use of my torque wrench. Got home, switched to winter's. Job done 48hrs after it should've been |
