Best e90 front bumper
Well I finished vinyl wrapping my interior trim today and took it out for a spin on the interstate and hit a piece of debris in the road. : Now I am going to need a new front bumper.
In your opinion what is the best looking front bumper for a 2009 e90 335i? This is the one I am planning on getting right now. https://www.jlevisw.com/accessories/...for-90-BMW.htm |

1m but not fiber crap. If u gonna do it get it made in polyurethane..it may be pricey up front but I bet u that fiber crap won't last 6 months without seeing some kinda issue.

Noobies go through a process, generally it's the stock bumper with lips, then m3 bumper, final decision go with mtech, then if they're bored performance or 1M then back to something they had in the past.

IMO, there is no best except for whichever one you like the looks of best. I like the looks of the M3 bumper and love the looks of the 1M bumper, but until the 1M is a known quantity I can't recommend it. Right now the 1M is the white whale...seeing is believing.

The 1M bumper looks amazing. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have fog lights (not sure if I like the led bars). Anyone have a link for one of these? Hoping it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

If that object was flying versus sitting on the road, your insurance may call it a comprehensive claim instead of a collision. Sometimes the deductible is less and it sometimes wont count against you.
Maybe a car kicked something up and it flew at you. |

My personal favorite is the performance bumper but the 1M is a very close second.

All the info/pics are here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1015799 If you want something unique, that almost no one has, that will make your car stand out - go with the 1m from ModMyEuro as mentioned by e90'D10 I'm getting the E92 version with CF Lip from MME Sure the MTech & M3 Rep bumpers are nice, but they are everywhere, nothing special. Kind of like a muscle car owner saying he has a 68' Camaro or a 70' Chevelle - big deal, they are a dime a dozen. Just about every muscle car owner has had one or the other at some time, and there are hundreds of them out there...

The Mtech front bumper looks amazing. I used to like the M3 rep, but to be honest it appears to look a little cheaper IMO with a less, lighter look. The Mtech just looks mean.

Er... It think just one look at 1M bumper is sufficent to understand that its primary target market is rice kiddies: lights under the body, blue LEDs on windshields washer nozzles and bookshelf-style three-level spoiler on the trunk lid.
It's just... garrish. |

I'm far from a rice kiddie @ 54 yrs old with (3) muscle cars in my garage But it's OK to put a rep of an M3 bumper on a non-M eh? In my case I'm looking for unique - everyone around has an MTech or M3 Rep on their BMW - why would I want to have my car look like everyone else's? Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, just doesn't agree with mine No LED's on my car (except in the AE's & OEM Tailights) - I do agree that the BMW high trunk wings are ridiculous on a street car - but most people on the forum think they are the cat's ass, so go figure

Well, if you are willing to put the equality sign between "rice kiddie look" and "rice kiddie car" then: yes, precisely. That bumper design was made by BMW specifically to target aesthetic preferences of rice kiddie crowd.

The 1M is an awesome car, small, stubby, two door sports car with an awesome bumper. IMO it just doesn't match the looks of the 3 series. |
