It looks too low to me. I would prefer to see an even gap between the tyre and around the wheel arch.

Don't need ACS springs, just 3 bags of gravel, 2 bags of mortar and 14 paving slabs in the boot, oh and wife and son in rear seat.

Think I'll just leave the back loaded up, saves 700 quid on springs fitting....

I spoke to a merc taxi driver a few years ago who swore by loading his car up with concrete when the snow came. Gave him traction etc.

Yep, we used to do that in Germany in 80's.

Are you still burying bodies in the back garden?

How many you got there now must be getting cosy

We will have to start calling you Fred

My Grandfather used to have two sacks of rock salt and a shovel in the boot of his Volvo. Practical ballast. That and the JCB tyres he used to fit meant he spent more time unsticking others.

Always have a tow rope and and a set of jump leads on board to assist the occasional damsel in distress. In winter that's added to with a fold up shovel and warm waterproofs.

The shovel came in handy during the bad winter when I beached my Audi playing in the snow.....winter tyres not much use if they're not touching anything
