Hey guys I have two small chips on my passenger side mirror. Does anyone know an easy solution to fix them?

Finding replacement parts

Pretty hard to repair the shadowline trim. I haven't found any suitable repair ideas/solutions to date. Replacing the part is probably the way to go!

Sadly, I have similar damage and have been searching online for the replacement part - can't seem to locate in Shadowline Trim (High gloss Black). In the attached Mirror Parts diagram, it's referenced as a Supporting ring (#3). My local parts department hasn't gotten back to me yet, but my fingers are crossed it won't cost a fortune. If anyone can suggest an online source for the part I'd appreciate it.

Found the correct part numbers

If this is helpful, here are the correct part numbers for the replacement surround:

Left Mirror (Driver):
51-16-7-284-125

Right Mirror (Passenger):
51-16-7-284-126

Good luck!
Yeah thank you it's in a tough spot. I'm going to see if touch up paint will make it look less noticeable.

Touch up paint and use the Langka system. Similar to Dr Colorchip, however you built up the surface and then use a solvent to remove the 'blob'. Works well.

I'm not so sure I would use the Langka system on the gloss black mirror.

Would you use it on gloss black fender paint?

I wouldn't.
Black is crazy to work with.
On a piece down low near a front dam or sill - that's where I would use the Langka system of Dr. ColorChip before going to a more visible spot.
