Bmw E90 to E63 M6 or...
Its been awhile, but some of you OG members might remember me. So currently i have a 08 E90 328 w/42K on it. The past week or so I've been up late thinking if i should pull the trigger on this 07 M6? The dilemma is that i feel like ill regret it cause the past year ive been saving up for a GTR(my dream car). The S85 motor on the M6/M5(E60,E63,E64) is probably one of the best sounding engine produce.
I will most likely trade in my E90 or sell it for the M6 or just wait another year(drive the my E90) and get the GTR. Just curious on your opinion on what you would do in my shoes? Bmw M6: http://www.bmwofmountainview.com/use...1289987944.htm Last edited by DZheng; 11-18-2014 at 07:31 PM.. |

I've never been a fan of GTR's, I say M6. The S85 is a jewel.

The money you would save on Not getting the GTR you could use to mod the M6, Twin turbo system ? super charger? you could make a one of a kind M6 if your really wanted.

I'd say go GTR.
That V10, while nothing short of incredible, could be a major headache with repairs and maintenance. Not that the GTR doesn't have the potential to be, but my assumption is that repairs/maintenance on the GTR's twin-turbo V6 will be less expensive than a 7-year old BMW V10's. TEN CYLINDERS is just tempting on an emotional level though regardless of differences in performance. Think of even just the sound! However, if it were my money, I'd personally still get the GTR. I know myself and I'd be way too paranoid about the V10's running condition. That said, it is not my money and it's yours, so good luck on your decision!

M6 over a GTR all day, every day. Better sound, choice of a 6spd, and a jewel of an engine.
The GTR may be the best bang for the buck rocket, but it doesn't absolutely nothing for me. Bland design, AWD, boring dynamics. Meh. |
