Has anyone had the H&R rear sway bar installed?

I'm trying to get an idea of the realistic installation time for an install. There are NO shops around here that have installed a rsb into an F30--and that includes Turner MotorSport!--so nobody can give me a price estimate that they will stick to. I know that DVC's install was priced at 3.5 hours for the rear but I haven't heard of anyone else doing it. Let me know if you have any information about this. I'll be damned if I'll go to a dealership that will charge me the shop rate for 8-10 hours labor as it's listed in their schedule of charges for this job.

^Thanks...I just wanted to give my indie shop an idea of how long it really should take so they just don't figure charging for 8 hours is cool. I will try to get them to give me an upper limit for time before they start.

How do you like the effect of the rsb so far? Do you have adaptive (DHP) or base suspension?

base msport suspension (704)
front+rear sway bars
haven't been into a track but defenitly improves turn in and stability thru corners.

I was under assumption that a stiffer FRONT sway bar would be better for a RWD car since they oversteer more then they understeer.

The suspension of the F30 is engineered for slight understeer. You can really tell once you push over 6/10 on autoX, etc. I know folks who do both rather than just rear and prefer that.

Hmm interesting. Honestly these sway bars work wonders if implemented correctly. I guess a beefier rear & front sway bar would be beneficial.

I remember on my old a4 (AWD) i put a beefier rear sway bar and that thing took corners like i could not believe.
