Is my number plate on right?

Daft question maybe but it doesn't look right, angled down.
My other half's number plate on her 2 series looks much better mounted on a black backing plate thing.
What's everyone else's like?

The dealer hasn't used a plinth. Ask them to install one is what I would do.

Some times it suites not to have one... was given the option on my E92 M3.

That's quite shoddy of them! Spend all that money on a car and they can't fit a number plate right.

How the hell do you get the covers off the screws?

Push a philips into the middle and through the plastic then unscrew and replace.

Or use a swiss army knife to flick them off by catching the edge.

I don't get the need for the plinth tbh, they clearly screw through the bumper anyway by putting screws there.

Its one of those things you probably wouldnt think to look for during handover when you first pick it up....but something you could cause a stink about if you did......

It doesn't look vertical to me compared to the other pic. And it looks cheap.

Mine has no plinth and angles down. Thought that was normal.

Been driving it for 18 months now so don't have much chance of it being sorted. Gutted!
