M Performance lip painted and unpainted

I had my M Performance CF Splitters and lip installed a couple weeks ago over at IND. After picking up the car and talking with Anthony we both agreed the flat black lip just didn't look finished on my AW M4. Here are some before and after images for people who couldn't decide what to do just like me. Also had them replace the bumper reflectors which is a must, car looks so much better.
Thanks again to the team over at IND.

Looks much better painted color matched. With the black it looks as if half of the bumper was missing.

Very nice, agreed... looks much better painted on an AW car. AW does't have metallic, so it can't have another flat colored panel attached to it. It lacks in contrast.

For metallic colored and glossier colored cars, it looks better with it it matt black to bring out the contrast.

looks great either way. for me I kinda of sway towards not painted but then again I would have to see it in person. other colors like YMB, SO, and AY it looks better painted to me just something with AW just looks good with the black contrast

I hear what your saying, but in person you lost the lines of the car. Now I just need the wheels you have on your car and I will be happy.

I think black on white looks better... Painted looks weird... I don't know.

I too am all about contrast but for me in the case of the Black lip it just disappears there is no contrast whereas the painted lip highlights the CFRP and makes the front look meaner and more pronounced.

It's nice that you like it, personally on white I would leave it black.

But it does completely change the look of the car for sure. Thanks for the comparison
