Rock chip repair shop or something similar

I'm enraged and just speechless...

This morning I was driving on 520 west, when a few pounds of small rocks was poured over my hood and windshield... Fucking semi-truck!!!!!

Now I have at least a few dozen of rock chips on my hood (same on the windshield, but that's not so visible). What to do???

They are pretty tiny, but the combined effect is terrible. Would that be cured by touch-ip paint?

Such a shitty way to start this Friday ...

re-paint the hood if it's a few "dozen"? touch-up is not gonna do it.

Took another look at the car during lunch. Not as bad as I first thought. The chips are really-really tiny, there is nothing to touch up. But there is a lot of them. I guess, it depends on how closely one looks at the car. From a distance of more than a few feet, it's not noticeable.

Fucking trucks!!!

The same thing happened to my car on I5 a few weeks ago. A truck carrying gravel hit a bump and it spilled on my car. Facking sucks, I have all these rocks chips all over my hood, bumper, and glass.

Touching up one or two chips is an option.

For what you're describing a hood repaint may be in order.

Body repair is a big part of my job at Rasmussen.

You guys should be getting the plates of the trucks, and even the name of the company from the sides of the truck, because they are liable for that damage!

If some dump truck lost a bunch of rocks and damaged by car, I'd be taking pictures of the truck with my phone and calling the company to tell them their truck just damaged by car, and what are they going to do about it. Then I'd be calling my insurance agent to tell them what happened. The last thing I would be doing is just paying for it myself, or claiming it on my insurance.

Same goes for broken windshields. I'd go after a truck that damaged my windshield too.

our freeways sucks....i already have 5 rock chip on the windshield and I've had the car for only a month. I've made 3 trips to Novus!!

What really kills me about these f##kin trucks are that they are always on the left lane and the WSP does NOTHING about it!!!

This same thing happened to me except it was on 405. It PMO that the cops bother us, and don't even give the trucks a second look even though they are supposed to cover their loads.
