I need some help deciding this trade
Hi all I have a e92 335i 2007 07/06 build date, i had this for 13,400 miles untill now, i was thinking about trading it for an e93 335i with the same package, and also the package i currently have is on my sig, so can someone tell me how much I'm losing for this trade? I have never driven any convertibles, is 335i convertiable that good comparing with the 335i coupe? i know they weight different but want to know more about the convertible? I would like all of you to give me some of your advice thank you all..

If you don't need the back seat, maybe a P-car instead? Or a Z4? Hard to beat the utility of the E93 though, hard top when you need it, safe in the city, etc. It is a few hundred pounds heavier, but that does not seem to bother many owners -- ask Eugen, he loves his. I'm waiting for the Z2 M...

I'd guess you could probably get about $35-37k from the dealer for your car. Figuring it probably cost you over $50k for your car. So it being a good deal or not really depends on how much money you and your parents are ok with losing.
As for the vert being "that good" when compared to the coupe... it kind of depends on what you want from the car. If this is something you use to cruise around town, and go out with friends in; then yes, the vert is just as good. If you spend your weekends at the race track, or are looking for the sportier more aggressive of the two, then no... the E93 is not as good.

Once again, I can see some BMW CA doing the about now and planning a nice long week ski trip to Tahoe. Who said business slows before tax time?
You might as well pull down your pants and underwear and do this now.
