The new family wagon with CH's......

A couple of pics of the new family wagon with some BBS CH's on it.

Swapped Fiona's 120d for a 320d. Sold my 335i sport touring a while ago and went back to a facelift E39 530i Sport.
But really missed the space of the 3er Touring, so when we got to 18 months old on the 120d the obvious choice was the 320d Sport.

It is so nice to do 270 miles the other day and have the OBC showing 47mpg, oh and it had only used just over a quater of a tank. It was showing 52 mpg with 60 miles to home, but it was late, I had had enough and the roads were empty so I upped the speed limit from 80 to 100 for the last 40 minutes.

After owning the 4.2 V8 S4 Avant, the remapped 535d sport touring, the CSL and the tuned 335i I thought I would find this a little lacking in power, but so far I have been seriously impressed, not once has it found lacking in any area, from 40-80 there is plenty of go, so overtaking is a breeze.
I am due to have it tuned next week so should add around 40 bhp and a shit load more torque.

All in all a big ....

loving it, and will do the same chip tuning upgrade as well. Another happy 320d owner here! (oh, and the black out grill looks great, will do same to mine),

Nice CH's. I like the look of your silver CH's better than the anthracite since it just flows better with the rest of your car IMO.

You're giving me good ideas.......

And by the way congrats on the car, a 320/325d could be my next Beemer - 40000+km's/year is quite expensive in a 335i these days.

Tell me about it, it was June I think when I got my credit card bill and that month I had put £800 in the 335i that I had to stop and think about things.
I bet there are not many of the US guys that put $1600 of fuel in a month.

I filled up the other day and it was only when I saw the litres were going up alot slower than the £XX.XX that I realised how much a litre was at the gas station I had stopped at. £1.16 a litre! That is $2.30 a litre.

Just short of $150 for a tank of fuel.
