Coding: Enabling a beep upon locking the car?

Has anyone found a way to make the car "beep" either an electronic sound (preferably) or the horn when you lock the car?

I find it's quite ambiguous as whether I've locked it or not, especially since now I've coded the MMI to turn off when I open the door.

lol ok you should be able to go into idrive>vehicle settings then there will be a menu item that you can select the option to activate the sound on locking the car. I am not exactly sure where it is but next time I drive my car ill take a look and if you have not already figured it out or someone posted the path I will

Just went to the car and had a quick look before i hit the sack...

The only option i found was Settings -> Door/Key -> Turn signals flash on lock/unlock, which i have already ticked.

Perhaps the beeping option has been coded off for Australia?

Just found this in schmitzna's summary thread!

Disable Audible Chirp/Beep When Locking Car
3000 → ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM set to: nicht_aktiv

I'll have a look tomorrow and hopefully setting that to aktiv will work
