OT - cheapest way into cheap new car?
Surely this must be the cheapest way to run a new car;

£53.32 a month, and in the small print, £87 a month for a battery, which is mandatory, which is why I wouldn't hire from that smart arse company

Me neither. But given what apparently hinders EV sales is the initial purchase cost (even with the £5k government grant) its an inexpensive way into a car with very low running costs. Especially when you think what BMW charge for a 3 series hybrid.
I hadn't spotted that. Bit underhand as its mandatory as you say. |
