i think its a new one...bmw was devising a new smg because the last version wasn't that good. if i remember right, it will have 7gears...

Sorry, not a fan of this one. Too many cut lines and chops in addition to the already busy look of an M3.

From the side its too many cuts and busy...Almost looks overdone with the dome hood, the fender grills, and the side skirts....The motor and interior obviously a plus, but I have to say I like the way I hooked up my E93 cabrio over the M3 cosmetically from the exterior....But like again thats my opinion.........

i doubt that it is smg. it is pretty much guaranteed that it will be a dual clutch transmission. look over on m3 post and some guys on there have been told by their dealers that they can now order dct. its not official yet but dealers have apparently been told. dual clutch should be faster that an smg gear box anyways. the new m3 really is a technological power house.

Looks like a transformer in the movies...like its going to mold into something else, maybe a toaster!!!! lol....I have to agree maybe the light colors doesn't hide all those lines from the convertible top......
