Winter Car Wash
Hey guys,
I live in NOVA (Alexandria to be specific) and just got a 128i vert in September. I'm curious to know what you guys do for washing your cars in the winter months. I know going threw the car wash isn't ideal (especially with a vert) but I have no place to wash it at my apartment complex. Any suggestions would be great, she's in desperate need of a bath. -Chris |

I'm retired USAF so I take mine to Andrews AFB and use the self-serve bays. When I don't go to Andrews and just want to get the crap off, the Shell station on Franconia Rd (near S. Van Dorn) is touch less and does a decent job.

car wash
Cross the Wilson bridge and goto National Harbor. There is a sunnoco on the left before you get to the buildings...turn left and stay left before that colorful sculpture you'll find a Touch-less drive through wash there. $12 and then you can park and wipe down the car with some microfiber towels and you'll be all set.

Go to bavauto.com and see what they have for vert tops. Likely too late for this year but apply their product next Fall. Use BavAuto for anything you need for your car.
