Cleaning Wheel Wells???

Hi everyone. I don't believe a car to be truly clean unless it's wheel wells are clean. Having the sport package (I have no idea how you folks that are lowered do this) I find that there's almost no room to get my hands and a rag in there to actually wipe the surface clean. I find the quiet deadening material in the rear can sometimes just be hosed off (unless it's really dirty), but not the plastic in the front.

My question is this: How does everyone clean their wheel wells? Is there ANY type of product that I can spray in there, let sit for a few minutes and then simply hose off?? Is there a brush or something available that people here have used that fits?? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

just get coilovers. then you cant see them.

i just normally take some diluted PoorBoys APC, soak them down, scrub with a smallish brush with a long handle, hose off. soaking them with car wash shampoo + water dilution in a foam gun works as well for lighter duty cleaning.

Any APC or Degreaser will work.

I went to Walmart and found a dish cleaning sponge on a stick. After thoroughly rinsing down the wheel wells, simpe spray them down with the degreaser or APC of choice. Let dwell for a bit while you clean your wheels, agitate a bit with w/e tool you find suitable that fits (some detailers like toilet bowl brushes.LOL), then rinse off.

Make sure to dress afterwards.

For the fronts, you can always turn the wheels completely to one side and get to 1/2 the well, then repeat after turning wheels to the other side.

Depending on your anal-ity, jack and lug wrench also will help . . .

Undercarriage Spray from Griot's Garage.
I haven't used it, but read in their catalog and other show car people using it...
