As the title says, I have 2011 328i with basic halogen headlights, and they are OK.
My question is, what kind of coding does it take to switch DRL to only illuminate the rings, such as when I turn on parking lights, minus the amber lights.
How difficult is that to do and how do I do it? See the photo, basically I want two rings illuminated without amber lights as the DRL option.Thanks for the input!

check out if there is a coder in your area who can apply the 'delete' so the amber lights on the side do not turn on. I have it on my car and it looks much much better.

Also recommend you change the AE rings to LUX for LCI Halogen. Nice bright and white. You'll love it! I have a thread where I did a review on it.

I took a look at couple of "corner delete" diys, couldn't find one straight forward enough...

I got this done for less than $100 from an Indy shop along with hella other coding I wanted done, just hit up local shops around your area to see if they offer that

Can someone give me a quick DIY to either set the AE as DRL or at least the corner amber light delete mod when using parking lights..any help is appreciated.

What cable did you use to connect to OBD port?
