Iphone 6 on 2015 F30
So I recently got my iphone 6 (had iphone 5s previously) and the bluetooth seems to work fine. However, when I use usb cable and connect to it, it does not detect it. It says "Not Connected" and it is grayed out. anyone know the reason why? It does say "This accessory may not be supported" on my iphone. One reason I can think of is that the cable I am using is not a genuine apple usb cable.. I bought a 3rd party cable off amazon. This cable worked fine for iphone 5s. I guess I can do a quick test when I get home for this.
Any other possible causes??? |

Thats not necessarily the case actually. I had legit cable but it didn't work either. Its actually an Iphone problem. Pretty common, what you need to do is reset the whole iphone and then repair it to the car. Make sure to clear out all paired phones on the car too. It worked like a charm after I reset my Iphone 6.

The 2013s also had a USB port in the glove box, looks like we lost that for 2014s and up
