Comfort Access - not folding mirrors

I have comfort access with my car and holding my finger on the door handle locks it and rows up the windows. The sideview mirrors are also supposed to fold in but they do not. Any ideas?

The manuals say a lot of things that aren't right. They also say we're supposed to have the warning triangle and first aid kit. We don't get either in America. I had to buy both separately. The manuals say xDrives have a torque distribution screen in the iDrive. We don't. Thats only on the SUVs.

I've wondered...why don't we get that?

Who decided "this is too convenient for the Americans...".

Yeah. Wouldn't it be easier just to code all vehicles the same way? Was probably more work to remove that for North American cars...

Stupid US regulations. That's why we have ugly orange reflectors, iDrive waiver screen on start up, no anti-dazzle high beams, etc.

So they removed that for the SUVs even. I had it in my E70 X5M.

I don't think the lack of auto folding mirrors is actually a Federal Regulation as there are many vehicles on the market today that auto fold when the doors are locked without any coding. I have coded all my BMW's with this feature and frankly like it alot.

My car was able to roll n fold using CA from factory. I thought this was for all US CA car's.

What I did have coded was roll n fold using the fob.

Rolling down they can all do from the handle and fob. Up you can do from the handle stock, fob coded. The mirrors I couldn't do from either stock, but can do from both now that its coded (Thanks Scott!).

All those things like folding mirrors that aren't against some stupid regulation should be configured in iDrive....NOT only through coding.
