So my black-line window trim is rusting

Has anyone else got this? Know how to fix? It looks horrible..

Plastic does not rust, that looks like some other type of staining maybe hard water.

I'm pretty sure this trim is metal? The car is an e92 335i m-sport

No rust, just stained

The black trim is made out of rubber/plastic.ive had to have it replaced due to it getting unglued.

Might be rail rust? Try a clay bar

+1 on rail dust. I'd start with Iron X, Dodo Juice, or some other iron removal solution first and then use a clay bar.
