The i8 is a freakin' beast. My son (335i) reported he had no chance to shake off his pursuer.

Yeah they are super quick apparently. I like the rear end and side of the vehicle but the front to me is horrible looking.. Never would have thought it would smoke an M4 like that..

It's merely the small tires that I find tasteless... ROFL! The aggressive silhouette of the i8 would cry for some Porsche sized rubber.

I thought so too, almost seemed as if they weren't going full speed or something.. maybe it was the way it was filmed..
great video man, I wish a BMW would have won but im glad to see Porsche still has it! The Porsche 911 GT3 Turbo is my dream car. |

The way the original video is filmed takes away any sensation of speed. Makes both cars appear/feel slow. Odd.

The M4 did a burnout as a launch, of course it lost.

^^ Agreed. Does the M4 have launch control? If not, I'd love to see the same race with a good driver.

Of course the M4 has launch control, and yes, they probably could have shave a few more tenths off its time.
And no way it would have won anyway. EDIT: Oh, nvm, I think you were referring to the first video, not the one with all the cars.
