Coding Replacement Radio

Hello!

Friend has an E60 5 series that had a dead cd unit.
Replaced the unit and the display comes on now but the radio doesn't work.

Does anyone know what needs to be coded to get a replacement radio to work?

If it was hooked up properly then it would work. No coding is necessary. Did you pop the amp fuse?

Probably more modules in CCC unit is broken if radio silents. Good diagnosis will give you an answer what is wrong.
