An E90 335i and an F30 328i are the same thing? And that thing is boring? The V6 and I4 Mustangs are more fun engines? And it continues, the Mustang interior is much better than a 3 series? I want some of whatever your smoking son. Anybody can see that HP/$ is not what you go to BMW for. If that's all you care about then have a nice trip.

News flash; people get tired of things they've had over time, if you are so used to BMW's then ok, move along. Don't go trying to blame BMW for your supposed enlightenment. You apparently want a Mustang. Go get one, we all don't need to hear how BMW's are not Mustangs.

Much better interior in a Ford? Forget the car dealer stop at the optometrist on the way home.

I'm not knocking Fords, I own one in addition to the BMW and think for the price the interior is very nice but it's literally night and day inside comparing the two.

Sounds like you want a toy not a car. Get a big bike while you're at it and have a ton of fun until you smear yourself across the freeway.

I would take a 435hp GT, at $39k fully loaded, over a fully loaded $50k+ 335i. No comparison. It should be compared to a M4, which is much more $. The GT still has a V8 and sounds better.

Don't get me wrong, I like BMWs. I've had three. But BMW is not keeping up these days. They are worse than Apple releasing incremental updates, and are overpriced in my opinion. I really liked my old 335i. Even if I got a 335i this time, I would have the same opinion, since BMW is not really doing anything special.
I get it, I dig Mustangs (usually when at least moderately modified). You very obviously have Mustangs on the brain. So you should def get one next. I would just chill out on assuming it's God's creation just because you happen to be in the mood to rock one. You might have that for a few years and get sick of it too. Honestly, if you are into anything more than straight hp wars drag racing, I would think twice about getting a muscle car just because you get more hp per dollar. They get pretty boring too unless you love to drag. And I'm not saying newer ones don't handle well nowadays, let's not start that battle, just seems to be your hp first way of thinking here. I still think they feel like boats, especially compared to most BMW's. To me, that would get old very fast, so to reiterate, it's all personal preference. For instance, as far as the interior goes; they might have stepped up the material and fitment a bit (unverified on my part), but design wise I still think it's a combination of retro and fugly.

Are you 18 years old? Why are you comparing a Mustang to a 3-Series?

No, you just bought a BMW to impress poor people who think it's a status symbol. Your fault for buying it as your "fun" car or your only car.

As a beater, the only thing I'd trade my 435i for is an M4.

I've driven one. It's a very nice car and if I wanted a coupe I would have strongly considered one because it's a nice car.

I haven't lost any sleep wishing I had bought a much cheaper Ford instead of my 335i.

Common guys, when you have to argue that a BMW is a nicer car than a f*ckin moostang, lol, you know the OP is just stirring things up to get a laugh.

Was a huge fan of the Coyote motor when it first came out but couldn't get over the interior and the ride quality. Waited for the 2015 Ecoboost & GT, test drove each, walked away and traded in my E92 for a F30 335i.

Ride quality improved some while the interior quality was still horrid. BMW costs more that's a given but you have to pay to play. The F30 is much easier to live with on a daily basis. My wife is 4'9 and her head was almost touching the rear windshield when sitting in the back seats.

This thread is what is boring. Maybe your therapist's office is a better place to share your frustrations?

Getting tired of the same ol boring stuff BMW is coming out with these days.

Yes it's nice and quality is there. But way too expensive for the quality and ride fun you are getting. Other companies, American, Japanese, etc. are one-upping BMW.

I test drove three versions of the 2015 Mustang recently (GT, V6, and EcoBoost I-4 Turbo). WAY more fun... Much better interior (with premium package). Ford and others have upped their game, while BMW is snoozing.
I don't like BMW interiors but....did you just claim that the Ford Mustang has a better interior than a 3 series? I find that one hard to swallow. I think Ford makes pretty reasonable cars but interior quality of design has never been a strong suit.

This guy is a troll. I wanted to test drive a Mustang GT before I comitted to the M235i.....The mustang could have a million horsepower. It's not a BMW. It's a very nice RWD loaded accord....IMO

Why so much hate on this post???

I understand that perhaps in some ways, other competitors are improving, but BMWs are more expensive for a reason. If it is value and novelty, it makes sense to consider other automakers.

OP, simple answer, get another car that's not a BMW!
I sometimes do get tired of my F30, and want something better. However, these thoughts instantly go away when I ride in other people's car. It truly gives me a better appreciation of my car. It's got both the power and luxury.

Having said all that, I probably won't go with BMW on the next round. Waiting to see what Audi does with the B9 A4/S4 (and maybe RS4 if they bring it back to the US), or wait till the mid model refresh of the W205, or just go for a different class of car altogether. That C7 is calling my name
