Just ordered a new 435ix GC M-Sport (Lease) - I'm Excited !
Hi Group,
Use to visit the forum and have enjoyed a 2011 335ix sport package very much the past 3 years. Lease is up. Decided on the 435ix Gran Coupe to replace it. Started researching it about 6 weeks ago and didn't even realize the GC existed until I visited my dealer here in Santa Fe, NM. I travel in the mountains a lot (NM, CO, MT). Not always the best roads, weird snow storms, etc., so the X drive was really essential (IMO). I was blown away by the CG's hatchback! I know that sounds strange, but I often have to carry a lot of photo equipment. When I saw the Hatchback and the amount of room in the GC, it was like "they made this car for me"! I have to admit, I still love fast and good handling cars (I'm old but XK-E, 240Z, Porsche, Saab all in my past). I think the 435ix CG fits my needs better than anything I can imagine. Admittedly did look at an Audi S5 briefly (liked the Supercharger "sound" ). I keep checking the build order every day.. nothing has changed since the order went in almost two weeks ago. Holidays I guess. Hope things start moving soon. Here's my build basics: Mineral Grey 435xi Gran Coupe, Premium package (Oyster leather), 18" M-Sport Ferric Grey Staggered Wheel Set with Summer Performance tires (I have a winter set of wheels/tires that I think will work from my 335iX), M-Sport Brakes, Black Kidney Grilles, Heated Front Seats, Driver Assist Package, Dynamic Handling Package, Sport Auto Transmission. I started to go with the 19" M-Sport wheel, but really liked the look of the Ferric Grey wheel with the Mineral Grey body color, black grilles, and blue M-Sport brake calipers. Think it will all work well with the DHP and X-Drive. I'll post some pics when the car arrives. I have to say that my 335ix was one of the best cars I've ever owned. Fun to drive and four door practicality. I'm thinking the 4 series GC will raise the bar even more . Cheers, Tony in Santa Fe |

Congrats! I plan to go the same route as you when the lease on my 335i is up in 18 months.... Be sure to post pics, interested in seeing how those wheels look with MG.
