ENET Cable:

I presume you are running in a VM on your Mac.

Thanks! I also purchases a usb to ethernet cable. Ill be running Windows 8 via bootcamp.
Im new to coding so I'm just getting familiar with e-sys. I saw that there was no cheat guide for the f82, do you know if there is one floating around or if there the same as the f10? thanks again for the help

You need OBD II x Ethernet (ENET). I am not sure what use USB x Ethernet is.

You can use F30 Cheat Sheet for F82.

Oh i mean my macbook doesn't actually have a ethernet port, so in addition to the obdii/ethernet cable i needed a cable to convert my usb drive to a ethernet port.

Thanks for the tips about the f30 sheet, will test them out shortly.

My laptop doesn't have an RJ45 Ethernet jack either. i can confirm though that using a USB to RJ45 Ethernet adapter works just fine.

What software do you use if you get that cable? or does it all come with it?

I saw this cable. Cost a little more. but... looks legit.
