My pictures from the NAIAS in Detroit

I had the chance to got to one of the media days, and checked out the BMW display. I must say that I really like the 1 Series in person. They also had two 1 series convertibles. The vert is great looking. I love the size, and it reminds me of an updated e30 cabrio. I was also able to see it with the top up. It didn't take long for it to go up and down with a simple press of the keyfob.

I wasn't a big fan of the X6. I'm not usually into SUV/SAV's, so this didn't appeal much to me. The M3's were also very nice in person. It was great to sit in an M3 and put my hand on the steering wheel, and to check out the CF interior trim. I think I like the coupe better than the sedan. I noticed that the coupe had shadowline window trim, but the sedan did not.

Non-Bimmers...

Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of it. As I stated, It wasn't very impressive, IMHO.

I agree Beauderek. I saw a X6 on the road in Birmingham (partially disguised) and was really unimpressed. Who wants a SUV with no trunk space? Kind of defeats the purpose...

Hmmm... I wonder why they changed the reflector design on the M3. It looks a lot more like the E46. Its nothing that a little paint can't fix, but it still won't be flush with the bumper. That blows.

Why does the 1 series vert need 2 antennas? fin and antenna?
They had to mess up the M3 with that F-N orange crap.
