How do you guys fit your golf club bag in your trunk?

My car: e90 lci m-sport 335i, I've got the small spare in the trunk.

My problem: My clubs -- in bag (driver, hybrids are giving me the most issues) do not fit in the trunk, I've got to sometimes ever so slightly bend the heads on the aforementioned clubs. I hate it because the shafts are graphite on those clubs, but they're made to flex so I'm not too worried.

What specific bags do you guys use to fit in your trunk?

If need to get a new bag I'll do that, but my ping blue dots are not leaving, neither are my hybrids or driver.

Before anyone says it...don't!

I just pull the woods out of my golf bag and lay them diagonally in the trunk so they fit. The irons fit ok while still in the bag.

Have you tried popping out the driver and putting the bag in at an angle? Top of bag goes back right corner and bottom of bag slides in to the left front well? Lay the driver in by itself? I have a Nike bag with the pop out leg stand.

Must be nice to live in FL and golf year round

Ha... I struggle getting my bag in my truck WITHOUT anything else in it, let alone a spare tire.

Sedan or coupe? I have a sedan... not sure if truck sizes or openings are much different for sedan/coupe.

I find that I have to angle it in, and I still usually have to careful "pull/push/force" my driver into my truck as that is what usually get's hung up. Once it's in, it fits OK, but I do lay in diagonal in my truck.

I use a Nike bag with the stands.

Good luck with the bag + spare tire... 3-series trucks aren't the roomiest...

As a few said above I take my woods out of the bag and lay them on top. My bag with irons fit just fine diagonally. E90 lci

I learned many years ago that giving up on golf would save me a lot of frustration and save money on broken clubs.

My hockey bag fits in the back, but it blocks the ski pass through in the back seat, so my sticks have to be carefully slid in along the seat into the footwell or put diagonally from the pass side to the back corner.

Slide the top of the bag (where the clubs heads are) into the driver side first then push the bottom end of the bag into the trunk near the battery (bag will be parallel to the rear bumper). I can fit 2 bags with my 2.3 gallon Meth tank. I have E90 LCI 335i as well so you should be good but I'm not sure how you have your spare tire set up

I've fit two bags in there several times. Just have to fan dangle it to fit in there.

And I thought the thread complaining about our seatbelt butlers not always working sounded pretentious

Slide bag into the driver side at a 45 degree angle, then point the other end at the battery/passenger tail light. Its always worked for me.

I have a callaway stand bag that just fits. I sometimes take my driver and a wood or two out, but I tend to leave the bag at the club most times anyway.

When I do need to put it in the trunk, I don't mind taking out a club or two, though.

Edit: didn't meant to quote you in this reply lol
