Materials needed:
-Shifty pic
-Scissors
-Tape (Double sided is best)
-Doner Roundel

Step 1:
Print out this pic (make sure it's actual size before printing):

Step 2:
Cut out Shifty

Step 3:
Cut a line from the side to the middle, fold over slightly to account for the roundness of the Roundel. Tape it on the back to hold the shape. Cut off any tape that is hanging over the edge.

Step 4:
Now that you have Shifty and the Roundel ready to go, tape the back (again, double sided tape is best but regular tape will work if folded at the ends to make the majority of it facing sticky side up)

Shifty and Roundel:

Step 5:
CAREFULLY place tape side down (duh) on the Roundel. Be slow to ensure that it is straight.

END:

That's all you need to do. And you've got yourself an inside joke on your car! You can cover it in plastic or w/e you want to make it water proff, I haven't done that yet. If you do, post it up! No pics of it on my car yet cuz it's 4 am here...

Enjoy!

I got 1 off eBay.
Problem is I need another and can't find it in the size I need.

I have now bought 2 and both are just a bit too small.
The side marker roundel is larger than the hood badges.
I am scouring the net for it.

Otherwise I have to move this badge to the trunk and stick with the regular BMW badges on the sides.

Those could easily be made out of vinyl. A while back I picked up a vinyl cutter on Ebay for a few hundred bucks and been cutting my own stuff for a couple of years now. You can get vinyl in all kinds of colors including clear, metalic, reflective, etc.

Drop by one of your local sign shops and I bet he could make those for a few bucks.

Its hard to show in the picture but the background is a carbon like reflective look to it.
I have gotten so many compliments.
I may have to move this badge to the trunk since its the same size...I cant find a second one in the same size...so bummed!
