335is vert rear bumper fit a 2008 335i vert?
I did a search and found some info. (from a few years ago.) Most of the info was for coupes.
and the answer was yes. i called a few bmw dealers. they had no idea. i was wondering if the 2012 335is sport bumper convertible with parking assist will fit a 2008 335i convertible with park assist. is it a direct fit with little modifications? if so if any one knows the part numbers off hand from doing it, that would be great or pictures. thanks

It is just the m-sport bumper with an IS specific diffuser, I have the m-sport bumper on mine with the IS diffuser on it, the diffuser is the only different part number on the bumper between the M-sport and IS

My buddy called. I guess the parts came in. The upper bumperAnd the diffuser. I thought the diffuser was the
Underneath piece but It's more like the lower bumper. It looks like I need more pieces. Like an underneath diffuser? The black piece that goes behind the diffuser. Is that one piece or seperate pieces? And is it expensive? |

It's at the shop and I think it's getting painted today. I believe they test fitted it the other day and it was a perfect match. There are more parts needed than I thought. U will need the top bumper. Then the lower bumper which they call the diffuser, but then u need the bottom piece which is the behind diffuser . U will also need left and right black stickers for the corners and a plastic then piece that goes in the center between the 2 bumpers.
U can't buy a whole kit. U have to buy it in pieces. Kind of a pain. I do have the bumper and lower bumper (diffuser) part numbers. I'll have to look for them. I'll post them. |

Here are the part numbers I have:
Top bumper 51288044934 Lower bumper (diffuser) 5128043897 Sorry don't have the small pieces part numbers. We back into those parts by looking up the above numbers. |

Correct, IS bumper is just m-sport with the performance diffuser, which you can change independently of the bumper.
