Can you please adjust the title to read the LUX E90 V6. just to avoid any confusion with the other model lights we have out there.

These lights are an upgrade from the LUX E90 V5.2 lights and they utilize the newest Cree LED's on the market. Producing around 1800 lumen total these lights are the brightest plug and play lights on the market. They have the halogen equivalent output of 88 watts of power while utilizing under 6 watts each!

The low power draw of LED lighting will allow the usually unnoticed cold/hot bulb check to be seen more readily. The way to eliminate the flashing would be to code out the bulb checks.

Im referring to the blinking when they changed from V3 to V4 for the E92.

When they switched from the V3 (no blink on startup) to the V4 it started blinking on startup or when your welcome lights came on.

Bulb Check is only when you start the car, there is no bulb check when you press unlock and you see the "welcome lights"

LuxAngelEyes Any input on my question for the new design for the E90?

There is confusion on the models already, These are for the 2006-2008 e90 sedans only, Not the E92's

When you start the car these will pulse on with the car's self check sequence and this is normal with the car. There are no welcome lights with these models cars so that doesn't apply

Yep I know these are for the E90. I was referring to my experience with my E92 and seeing if these did the same thing.

When I press unlock on my key fob (when lights are in auto mode), My angel eyes turn on, along with my leds under the door handle. This is what I was referring to as "welcome lights".

My question is, when I press unlock will these dim on like my angel eyes do now or will they flicker on?

Thanks

This is what I'm referring to when I press the unlock button. Will they dim on like mine do now or will they flicker on?

the LUX E90 V6 are rated at 850 lumen while the E90 V5.2's were rated at 690 lumen per side.

Just received my V6's yesterday from LUX. Installed late last night. Love-em!!

They are WHITE and BRIGHT as you can see from the cr@ppy photo below.

LUX V6 AE on right, driver's side done - original, amber/yellow on left for comparison.

I'll post better pic's when I'm done.

Nice, thanks for the pics! Question: how do the rings look in person? I know it's hard to tell from pictures as cameras capture a lot of glare. I love how they're bright and rated at 850 lumens per side, but from a distance are you still able to make out 2 distinct rings?

I guess I'm looking for a balance of brightness with angel eye clarity (if that makes sense).

They look great - very close the look of the F30 angel eyes. Yes you can see two distinct bright white rings.

Sorry for the poor quality photo. It was really late when I finished and haven't taken the car out during daytime yet.

It's 10 deg. F this morning. I'm in no hurry to go outside for pics right now but I should have better ones by the end of the day.
