Where to get BMW spark plug tool?
I'm misfiring and have picked up new plugs to swap in (and will replace coils as needed - $75 per coil ain't cheap). However, the dealership won't sell me the spark plug tool, and Autozone and O'Rielly don't have it.
Anyone know where I can get one, preferably in the Austin area? Or can I use a generic spark plug socket?

Yeah, don't know if you'd want to wait for shipping while you're mis-firing but online will probably be your best bet. BMS has it for $19 & shipping is usually very quick.

The BMS socket has a magnet inside that holds the plug as you raise and lower it. It's a critical feature especially when installing.

+1 on BMS socket with magnet. Made the installation very easy and fast. It's a few $ more but worth it for peace of mind.

Well, Since We're on the Topic....
I'm generally not one to openly rep specific vendors or products over competitors; however, from my own experience the BMS socket with the integrated magnet has been the best socket I've used personally.
