Sorry I couldn't get better pictures, but I spotted this camo 3 series. What can It be? Had quads.

The timeline would be perfect for it, but this one has halogen rear lights not LED's. Interesting for sure.

I saw the m3 prototype a while before it was released in LA

I've seen a few test cars as well including the M3 after it had already been revealed, the X5 and X5M, and a couple of F31s. I spoke with them as well and one of the guys mentioned that sometimes it's to test something on the inside/interior. Wouldn't give me any other details.
