New F30 328
Well, traded off my F25 X3 and got a F30 328 xdrive Mineral Grey. Pleasantly surprised with the N20 engine as I haven't had a BMW 4 since my E36 318 (which lasted 268K miles until I sold it...new owner is still driving it). Anyway, the F30 is a nice daily driver for certain! It's pretty basic with just Premium and Cold Weather, but loads of fun (yeah, I know, my first car without xenons in some time).

the chassis is still the same, suspension is the same for all x-drive for the most part. The differences are only in the dash trim colours/materials and lack of some luxury conveniences.
the engine is a non issue. plenty enough power…even if you got a 320i. good valued buy and don't let anyone tell you "you cheaped out". The basic BMW DNA is the power train and chassis first…..the rest is the luxury and personal tuning/preferences. Just have to pay for those extras. |
