E90 LCI M Sport fog light bulb
I've searched, searched and searched again. There is so much conflicting info on what fog bulbs my car needs and I want to upgrade to match the color output of my xenon headlights. Anybody that has swapped is it an H8, H11 or HB4 9006 bulb???

No error codes. Your basically swapping one halogen bulb for another.
Another option is the Osram Cool blue intense http://www.powerbulbs.com/us/store/c...tting/hb4-9006 or the Phillips Bluevision Ultra http://www.powerbulbs.com/product/ph...eadlight-bulbs Both are straight swap in, about as white as the OEM xenon bulbs and will produce no error codes or other problems.
