Saw real YMB M4 yesteray in Toronto
Finally saw a YMB M4 yesterday at the Kennedy/401 Petro Canada, looks awesome and the color does look significantly different under different shades and angle of vision.

LOL! That was me. I was taking the car out for a spin. The good ol' DVP->401->427->DVP loop. I try to do it once a week. I needed to go to the bathroom bad... Too much coffee. So made a pit stop!

Haha! Your car was sooooo clean that day! What interior colour you have?
I'm working towards getting one (M3) for the 2016 model (so late 2015), still debating whether to go YMB/SS or AW/SO. I used to have a AW E92 M3 and the interior was the "M3" orange, but I'm not sure whether it was the same Sakhir Orange in F80/F82. |

Once you see YMB in person you really get a sense of how hard it is to capture the color in person. There is so much character to this color that is impossible to capture in a pic IMO. YMB is an awesome color!

Yah... I found that all of the M specific colors (YMB, SO, AY) are very hard to capture their true essence on camera. I was worry when I ordered the SO without seeing it in real person. However, after seeing my car, I LOVED it... and still loving it!

Black interior is tough to keep dust free! Sakhir Orange has more, you guessed it, orange in it than the previous red. Not much though. It's ever-so-slightly lighter.

This is a good idea, do you mind telling me what kind of wax you applied on the M4 and whether you DIY or had a pro to do it? How long does it last?

I use Autoglym spot cleaner in between. They make one that reapplies wax for the spot you cleaned. Works very well! It also doubles as a lubricant for clay bars. I do everything myself. It is therapy for me. Things I need a lift or special tools for, I outsource. Everything else, I do myself. I have been wax my cars since 2000. I think of myself as an expert. Without washing, or excessive sun exposure, it should last 6 months or longer. On certain parts of the car, wax would have a shorter life, such as the hood - heat leads to evaporation. I basically wax my car every time I wash it. I wax the horizontal surfaces more in the summer (due to sun exposure) and vertical surfaces more in the winter (salt, etc). All in, probably 6 wax jobs a year.

I know there are vendors on here, so I am not going to speak out of turn. Put it this way, if it was that long lasting, tough, durable and amazing, you would think luxury cars would come with it already, at least as an option.

Yas Marina truly is a beautiful color! I was torn between that and Mineral white. Bounced back and forth for a week before just doing the white. The blue has soooo much depth though, even shades of purple. Hope I don't regret not getting it

I just picked up my car from having her first service, and they had a YMB M3 in the showroom.
I gotta admit, I thought it was pretty terrbile from the internet photos, but in reality, there is a lot of depth and character to the metallic paint in person. YMB has made another fan in me

redfox my car comes in a few months. Want to see different options. Supersport springs almost look too low in pics, sports too high in the front... I'm debating KW HAS coils (i think thats what they're called)
