More front camber using oem parts

See GSR Autosport thread about upgrading to F8x M3/4 lower control arms [LCA] which adds ~ -1 deg camber at the front.

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1079766

If you had standard halogen headlights then GSR Autosport have done trials on their 228i trackday car and its looking good.

The item I'm not sure of, for those of us with xenon self levelling headlights, is the connector rod that regulates h'light level is connected to the LCA. The method of connection between stock FXX LCA and F8x M3/4 LCA is different.

I'm UK based so hard for me to enquire/talk to the guys in GSR to get absolutely clarity on which parts work with xenon headlights. If someone stateside could take this query towards GSR that would be great as they have started offering the LCA upgrade as a "hassle free" kit - see link below

http://store.gsrautosport.com/F8xflc...2284529-30.htm

Let me know what you think, or better still if someone is able to fitup the LCA's and get the connection rod query resolved, I'd like to know more.

Shocked this thread hasn't gotten more action. I've been keep an eye on this forum so I know what to expect when we had an f30 to the driveway. When these came avail for the e90, everyone hopped right on the bandwagon.

For my part, I went with GC camber plates. I may still take advantage of this at a future date, though.

Always wondered if 1-2 degrees of negative camber had a negative effect on straight line performance or comfort

Does the F30 strut hats have the pins that can be pulled for additional half degree of camber? I used this on the E46 and E60 with success.

no, they do not

the mounting holes in the tower aren't slotted, either
