Front splitter clearance

Anyone have the M perf front splitter on their M235i and use it as a daily driver? What's your experience with rubbing, scraping so far .. Do tell Stock ground clearance is around 5 inches, what does the splitter bring it down to ?

Anyone have lowered 10mm with aftermarket springs, and the front splitter??

Same here.. stock ride height with splitter. Haven't had any issues with speed bumps, parking garages, etc.

I have splitter as well, and no problems normally, but the other day came out of Shell station and came a bit to frontal onto drive-down for the street and yes it hit.

BUT good news, it only scraped the bottom underneath. I lightly scuffed area with steel wool, hit it with black satin and good as new. Arrrghhhh!!! Gotta watch that.

lol.. funny listening to you guys talk about stock height and scraping Its like asking a 7ft guy if he has any issues dunking a basketball You should be asking the 5'10" guy that question

I have same splitter and lowered down 3 inches from stock height. The height from the ground to the bottom of the splitter is about 2.5 inches.

Believe it or not, the only problems i have with scraping are drastic/dramatic speed bumps and driveways with a dip, in which i have to hit a wicked angle or scrape. Its surprising you guys have issues at all...

What springs did you use to lower ? You still have plenty of room to go, you still have some room there!

I have roughly the same front clearance and same, only have issues with extremely high speed bumps and VERY steep carpark entrance/exits...but then I do crawl over every speed bump regardless of height :P

Don't tempt me bro I've toyed around with the idea of going down another inch, and it prob wouldn't be much more significant scraping as there is now, but its my DD and i get too many people commenting about my drop as it is ...
