programm buttons on steering wheel

Hi guys,

i have a E90 without a build in carkit. So now i have two buttons on the left of my steering wheel with no function. i am wondering if i can programm these two buttons. (the ones with the speaking icon and the phone icon.) i'm thinking of making on a mute button for the radio, but i don't know if this is possible.

Can someone enlighten me please.

thanx

Jimmy

I've always wanted to do the same but have never seen anyone come up with a way during my time on e90Post.

I asked a similar question a while back. Apparently it is possible with iDrive, which I do not have.
